**Locums Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opening - Holyoke, Massachusetts**
9 miles from Springfield, MA; 90 miles from Boston, MA
**Coverage**
- Start: ASAP
- End: 8/31/24
**Position Details**
- Immediate need at brand new freestanding psychiatric hospital
- 5 month assignment through Aug 2024
- Monday through Friday. 9am-5pm
- No call.
- Average caseload 8-10. Max 12.
- Experience required in child/adolescent psychiatry
- Medical team provides onsite and after hours care
- Will provide hotel expenses (if needed)
- Supervision provided by highly experienced child psychiatrist via tele remote.
- Caseload: ONLY C&A seeing ages. Ages 5-17
- It is an inpatient unit (technically not a clinic).
- Admissions are required
- Psych experience as NP is required
- Hospital will pay for car rental, flight, etc within approved guidelines.
- Provider can expect to see a wide range of youth related mental illness.
- First break psychosis, depression, self injurious kids, oppositional defiant disorder, gender dysphoria
- Temporary privileges are available
