Remote Tele Health Psychiatry Locum Tenens Job in Southern California
Details/Requirements:
*Residential treatment coverage for a guaranteed minimum of 5 hours a week starting ASAP and ongoing.
*Amount of hours needed could increase to as much as 10 hours a week. Within 2-3 years the Client may add a detox program and at that point their need could increase to significantly more than 10 hours a week.
*All adult males, ages 18-65, average age is low 30’s.
*Will allow 100% remote tele health services - Zoom or TEAMS used for tele health.
*Flexible regarding days/hours worked as long as services are provided between 8am-8pm, Monday through Friday. Weekends are also possible workdays for this program.
*No formal call, meaning you will never be required to come back into the facility if called, emailed, or texted by the Client’s staff after scheduled work hours.
*Client guarantees a minimum of 5 hours per week which includes all hours worked, including any text, email and phone hours when the facility staff reaches with patient-related questions.
*130 bed residential treatment program, a long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation program for individuals struggling with substance abuse, some of whom have co-occurring disorders.
*Currently 11 patients who need to be seen by a psychiatrist in addition to initial intakes, only approximately 10-12% of the patient population need to be on medication.
*Client typically allows one hour for initial assessments and 30 minutes for medication follow ups which includes charting time.
*Client has an electronic health record, so you must be computer savvy.
