As a Psychiatrist at Reliatus Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive psychiatric care to our clients. Your expertise will contribute to improving the well-being of individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of clients to diagnose mental health conditions.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations.
3. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, making adjustments as necessary.
4. Provide ongoing therapy and support to clients, including crisis intervention when needed.
5. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care and a comprehensive approach to treatment.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
7. Stay current with the latest advancements in psychiatric research and treatments to provide the best care possible.
**Qualifications:**
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid New York State medical license.
- Board certification in Psychiatry.
- Completion of a psychiatric residency program.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatments.
