Our Neuroscience Department offers an excellent opportunity for psychologists at any level to join the team with support provided by the fellow staff and the lead Director. We're hiring a clinical psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to add to its rapidly developing team within the Neuroscience Department. We have over 30 clinics located in all five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. We specializes in TBI patient care in Worker’s Comp and No-Fault cases, and focuses on evidence-based treatments to provide efficient care to the psychological demands of patients. Candidates will receive training, education and supervision to properly engage and treat patients in this field.
Job Responsibilities
Perform clinical interviews and short screenings
Establish preliminary diagnosis and recommendations (referrals, further testing, etc.)
Establish specific treatment plan according to each patient’s conditions and diagnosis (Psychotherapy, Cognitive Rehabilitation, etc.)
Documents all patient’s interventions according to company policies and procedures
Ensure patients understand their diagnosis and receive relevant information
Inform patient about next steps of evaluation and treatment
Must be able to consult and communicate with other physicians, specialists, etc.
Qualifications
Doctorate (Ph.D. or PSY.D in psychology)
Valid New York State Licensure
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8 hour shift
