Inpatient Psychiatrist – General Adult or Women’s Program – Austin, TX

Austin Oaks Hospital offers a continuum of psychiatric services for children and adolescents, ages 4-17, and for adults, age 18 and older. Located in South Austin, Texas, we strive to provide a warm environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, social skills, and personal growth. • • Inpatient general adult caseload or Women's Health Unit.

• • Monday-Friday days only with minimal weekends & on-call coverage.

• • Manageable & sustainable caseload for excellent work-life balance.

• Full-time position (independent contractor preferred but employed W-2 available)

Requirements:

• • Board-certified General Psychiatry (required).

• • Previous experience and comfort treating adolescent patient population.

• • Licensed to practice (license in good-standing) in Texas required at time of hire.

• Ability to integrate well with a multidisciplinary team.
