Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Psychiatrist to fill an opening with an Article 31 - Behavioral Health Facility located in Bronx, NY

Requirements of the Psychiatrist:

• Must have an active NY State License
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Must be comfortable with Children and Adolescents.

Benefits of the Psychiatrist:

• The salary range for this position is $220,000 - $270,000 / yr (will be prorated for part-time)

Schedule of the Psychiatrist:

• This is a Part-time position (2 days a week)
• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist:

• Assess patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history reviews.
• Diagnose patients accurately.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and prescribe medication as needed.
• Consult with other medical professionals and psychologists. Regularly following up with the patient to check progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.
• Thoroughly document each patient's diagnosis, symptoms, medication, treatment effectiveness, etc.
• Provide patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage their disorder. Researching new developments in psychiatry and mental health.
