Adult Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use | Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
*Starts ASAP and ongoing.
*Approximately 50% or less mental health adult outpatient coverage plus at least 50% or more treating patients with substance use disorders (meth users, opioids, fentanyl, etc.) and/or co-occurring disorders.
*Requires onsite candidates only and someone with medication assisted treatment (MAT) experience, doing induction and all withdrawals onsite, no tele medicine.
*Hours: 8:30A-5P, Monday through Friday, no call.
*Evaluating the patient when it’s time to do the withdrawals, and administering suboxone and monitoring the patient.
*Must have experience administering/doing injections with suboxone.
*1.5 hours for initial evaluations for MAT patients and 30 minute follow ups.
*For traditional mental health adult outpatient, 1 hour evaluations and 30 minute medication follow ups.
*30 minutes to one hour lunch break each day.
*Three month minimum assignments.
