PSYCHIATRIST OPPORTUNITY!!!! Private practice model in Rockville, MD. is seeking Psychiatrist High earning potential - Looking for a long-term relationship that offers significant professional, personal and financial growth for the psychiatrist. Administrative staff provides superb services to our clinical staff, and patients and their families; and consistently receives high marks for their commitment, enthusiasm, and results.
Job Responsibilities
Works in a team environment, consults with staff on client behavior and performance, and provides staff training as required.
Reviews behavioral/medical records for compliance with quality and contract requirements.
Prepares correspondence as appropriate.
Consults with other staff and external providers, including psychiatrists, physicians, psychotherapists and other authorized professionals, family members or caregivers.
Provides on-call support to clinicians and case managers.
Enters progress notes, assessments.
Qualifications
A current DEA certificate.
Certification to provide psychiatric services to children required.
Board certified preferred.
Board eligible required with ability to complete certification within the year.
Psychiatric experience and/or experience with homeless, veterans, refugees and/or other high needs clients.
Experience with dual diagnosis and Addiction Medicine.
