Job Summary:

The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, CO and HealthONE Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Psychiatry Program Director

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified by the ABPN or AOBNP
  • Minimum of three years post-residency participation as an active faulty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
  • APD or PD experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong team building skills
  • Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply
  • Participate in recruitment and selection of residents and faculty
  • 50% administrative, 50% clinical workload

  • ECT service for both inpatients and outpatients 5x/week
  • Onsite ACGME accredited HealthONE psychiatry residency program
  • O.P. continuum of care available onsite and offsite
  • Program is treatment-enriched with multiple master disciplined therapeutic staff
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services in development
  • Fully supported 24/7 EMR (Meditech and Patient Keeper)
