**Psychologist Opening in Florida** Located in ***Bradenton, FL*** - Sarasota 13m; Tampa 45m Job Description: Clinical or Counseling Psychologist Full-time Permanent Position Summary: This individual provides supervision to predoctoral psychology interns in our APA-accredited program. This provider would be a member of the training committee, which comprises psychologists from five sites across the Southwestern Florida region. In addition to supervision of interns and practicum students, primary responsibilities also include provision of psychotherapy and psychological assessment. The psychologist additionally serves as a member of multidisciplinary teams, offering consultation to stakeholders within the organization to support diagnostic clarification and grounded, holistic treatment planning. There are additional opportunities in this position for community outreach, designing and conducting didactics, and leading seminars. Medical Center is part of a larger not-for-profit network which seeks to support those who might otherwise not have access to mental health care. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA accredited program; Completion of an APA accredited internship or equivalent; Completion of a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Psychology; Active license to practice as a psychologist in the state of Florida, or, if licensed in another state, ability to obtain Florida license by date of hire. Essential Functions: Reports to work as scheduled on a daily basis and performs assigned duties to ensure the smooth operation of the psychology department. Performs and documents comprehensive psychodiagnostic evaluations. Provides counseling/psychotherapy and ancillary services. Provides consultation regarding services provided. Supervision of psychology interns and practicum students. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
