Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist needed in Oregon Located in Corvallis, OR - 84 miles to Portland. Full Time & Permanent Position. Health Services a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full time Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Corvallis, OR. Award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics Join a well-established, full spectrum mental health program, with a multi-disciplinary staff to include physicians, nurses, LCSWs, and patient care coordinators. Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Provide competency evaluations and care recommendations for patients in the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center ED and medical floors Patient volume can vary widely given the needs of GSRMC at any given time Serve as an attending psychiatrist, with oversight of psychiatry residents and teach of medical students. Approximately 2 nights/month of back-up call to residents (call is shared between Samaritan Mental Health Outpatient and inpatient physicians) Job Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Current Oregon Licensure or license eligible BCLS certified 2 to 3 years of experience in Psychiatry Knowledge in working with patients who have chronic health conditions Eligibility to work in the United States We offer an attractive salary plus incentives, relocation assistance, paid malpractice, CME days plus allowance, Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and a competitive benefit package. **Location details** Nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Corvallis is an ideal location to work, live and raise a family.
