JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hospital near Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Behavioral Health Medical Director to drive service line improvements and expand services to support the care of our community.
This individual will participate in the strategic direction of Behavioral Health, support improvement in the care of this patient population, and partner with service line leadership to achieve these goals.
A few highlights:
31 private and general adult patient rooms
3 physician hospital-based practice
4 APPs to support inpatient and outpatient services
5 fulltime therapists

HOSPITAL:
The Healthcare System is a non-profit hospital and provides care to the residents of seven counties. Its Medical Group employs more than 50 primary care physicians and specialists, with a majority of them being hospital-based physicians.
