PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist Opportunity!

Situated conveniently in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks stands as a fully accredited, 120-bed acute psychiatric hospital renowned for its comprehensive range of individualized treatment services tailored to teens, adults, and senior adults. Our offerings include specialized care for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues, catering to diverse patient needs. With Medicare and most commercial health insurance plans accepted, we prioritize service excellence, ensuring every patient receives optimal care.

We're actively seeking a PRN Psychiatrist to complement our dedicated Inpatient Services team as an Independent Contractor. As part of our reputable facility, you'll enjoy:

  • A 125-bed freestanding behavioral health hospital environment
  • Average length of stay: 9-10 days
  • Flexible PRN weekday and weekend options
  • Focus on adult inpatient psychiatry patients
  • Manageable caseload of 12-14 patients, including 1-2 admissions
  • Diverse payor mix providing professional diversity

Requirements:

  • Completion of Psychiatry residency or fellowship training program
  • Current California medical license in good standing or ability to obtain required licensure (MD or DO only)
  • Active California DEA license
