We are seeking a Physician - Medical Director for Ongoing locum coverage with one of our clients in VT.

Job Description:

• As one of the leaders of the medical staff, the Medical Director of Medical Services (MDMS) participates in policy setting, planning and priority setting for medical services.

• This includes participation with leaders from management, including the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Directors for Inpatient Services, and medical staff in the hospital’s decision-making structures and processes.

• The MDMS assumes overall responsibility for the medical integrity of the medical services, including setting standards of practice competency and care for medical care throughout those areas, including attention to management of human, fiscal and material resources.

• The MDMS serves as the direct supervisor for all members of the Medical Consult Service staff.

• Additionally, the MDMS serves as a staff physician, and provides clinical care for the Medical Consult Service as needed.

Submission Requirements:

• Licensed and registered in the state of Vermont.

• Board eligible or certified
