ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University are seeking an Adult Psychiatrist. The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor. Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available.

ECU Health and Acadia Healthcare have announced plans to build a state-of the-art, 144-bed behavioral health facility that will open in the spring of 2025. The new facility will include 24 inpatient beds dedicated to the mental health needs of children and adolescents.


The successful candidate will provide direct clinical care in both community-based and academic settings. Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research.
