Responsibilities:

The CL Psychiatrist will have the responsibility for providing consultations referred by the medical, surgical, pediatric and obstetric services.

This position includes responsibility for teaching and supervision of psychiatry residents, psychologists, psychology interns, medical students as well as significant teaching of residents from all other specialties. He/she will participate in ethics meetings, court hearings, and multidisciplinary rounds.

He/she will participate in activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement, regulatory compliance and student education.

He/she will report to the Director of the Service.

He/she will also participate in our innovative integrative care activities and be responsible for Performance Improvement of this Service, including the design, monitoring and analysis of outcome metrics

Qualifications:

  • Must be board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $236,900 (board eligible) - $247,200 (board certified)
