Great Ongoing Locums Outpatient Psychiatry opportunity in Alaska
*Location: Juneau, temperate climate-rainforest area. This is not a place that gets 3 feet of snow. In fact, it rarely snows more than a skiff.
*Setting: Adult Outpatient Clinic
*Coverage/Shifts: Days, 8am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday; 40 hours/week; No call, no weekends, rarely any overtime
*Start Date: January 2, 2023
*End Date: Ongoing; need a minimum commitment of 2-6 months (preference given to those that can commit to longer, but not required)
*Patient Volume: 4-9 patients/day
*Appointment duration: New patient-60-90 minutes; Followup/me checks-30-45 minutes
*Need an active, unrestricted Alaska license; Licensing timeframe is currently about 6-8 weeks (plenty of time for this placement)
*Pay Rate: $200/hour
*EMR: Cerner
*Travel & housing provided
*Malpractice Insurance provided
