**Behavioral Health Medical Director opening: Putnam, CT** *Located just 30m to Providence, RI & 45m to Hartford, CT* **About the Job** - Full-time - Permanent - 80% Clinical, 20% administrative - Work life balance & flexible schedule - Providing coordinated psychiatric services to patients utilizing the clinical services Health Center. - Routine and crisis adult and pediatric care as assigned - Evaluation, diagnosis, medication assessments and adjustment, patient education, and treatment planning. - Be knowledgeable about agency and clinical policies, keep all patient information confidential, and shall assume responsibility for the development and realization of an individual ongoing care plan for all patients. **About the Group:** Health Center is a regional community health center covering a thirty seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam. Their dedicated staff provides a full range of preventative and primary care medical services to all ages including health maintenance of chronic diseases, 24 hour on call, care coordination, as well as complete behavioral health and dental services at their Willimantic and Putnam sites and through their School Based Health Center and ACROSS THE SMILES mobile dental program operating in the Northeast and Windham service area. Health Center is a non-profit regional Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that has served eastern Connecticut since 1984.
