**Psychiatry Openings in Missouri** Multiple Locations all throughout Missouri (Including St. Louis and Kansas City) - Inquire with what location you are seeking! *Both Adult and Child Psych opportunities available* **Details on the Openings:** - Full-time, permanent - Provide excellent quality psychiatric care to the serious mentally ill population, substance use disorders as well as those who are dually diagnosed or in need of comprehensive behavioral health care. - This will be done via provision of psychiatric evaluations and medication management services; education and monitoring to clients and treatment team in conjunction with nursing staff, APN as appropriate. - Services are all under the direction of the medical director with full treatment team component available within the agency. Clients may be adults or youth depending on specialty and training and or MAT Waiver training. **Areas Covered:** - Community mental health - Outpatient setting - Inpatient setting with serious and persistent mentally ill adult and/or child, adolescent population - Co-occurring population (SMI and substance abuse). **Essential Functions** - Provision of comprehensive evaluations and medication management/monitoring to include prescribing, review of collateral medical record, review of lab values and consultation with PCP and/or other providers,(both in agency and in community) completion of correspondence to disability/insurance providers regarding client progress/level of functioning. - Documentation to be done in electronic medical record system to address all risk assessments; quality measures and utilizing ePrescribe for all medication orders. - Treatment team participation/collaboration for service delivery - Participation with telehealth as needed - Collaboration with APN as needed. - Staffing and training for agency staff and other providers as needed - Attend Medical Meetings and other collaborative treatment meetings as scheduled. Community education as needed and completion of mandatory CEU's - Consultations, triage within, and between treatment teams. - Providing prescriptions as appropriate based on symptomology and best practice.
