Locums Psychiatry - SW PA (one hour from Pittsburgh)
Setting: Inpatient
Coverage type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call (Beeper)
EMR: Epic
Start Date: April 18
End Date: Ongoing
Dates:
April 18-22
May 16-20
June 6-10 (More will be added.)
*Possible weekend Call needed
Must be BE/BC with completed Psychiatry residency
Fellowship in geriatric psychiatry preferred
Practice:
- Office Hours: M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Patients/day: 8-12 in clinic
Hospital:
- Inpatient unit = 29 beds
- Call schedule: 1-2 days per week. 3 days on occasion
*Possible weekend Call needed
*Average call-ins while on call: varies, 2-4 admits + calls for behavioral issues, PRN meds, non-routine incidents on unit
*Response time: 30 minutes
*Midlevels assist with new evals/summaries
*Total daily encounters: approx. 12-15
*Department/Units Rounding: Adult, DEM, consults
*Travel/lodging covered
*Malpractice covered
