A consulting service in Arizona is looking for a preventive medicine physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for one year, with a chance for an extension. The provider will choose his/her schedule but will have 12 to 24 hours to complete an assessment. The locum will receive forwarded forms and recordings and will review everything and act as a second qualifier for the patients. The locum will note if there are any red flags and decide whether or not to move forward with the case. The provider will finally make the appropriate recommendation for which treatment plan - DME, or prescription topical pain cream, back brace and or additional cancer screening.
