Top Docs, Inc., a 19 year veteran in the locum tenens placement industry, has an URGENT NEED for a Podiatry physician to work at the Indian Health Service in Lawton, OK. Please review that job description and requirements below.

The Podiatrist shall provide services to include, but not limited to the following:

1. Provide comprehensive assessment of the feet of person with diabetes to identify individuals at high risk for lower extremity amputations.

2. Manage foot complications such as osseous and soft tissue deformities, neuropathy, etc. through the use of orthopedic, medical and/or surgical intervention.

3. Provide palliative foot care including nail, callus, corn and skin care.

4. Management of ulcerations through biomechanics, medical, and surgical means.

5. Identify and treat lower extremity pathology of the diabetic and non-diabetic populations as it relates to the areas of sports medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and traumatic injuries.

Board Certified or Eligible in Podiatry

• Position starts as soon as credentialing can be complete – 3 months (possible extension)

• Must be able to use Computerized Record Keeping Systems

• Any state license

• Monday – Friday

• 40 hour work week

• 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Call may be required
