Leading healthcare organization in Bronx, New York is seeking a compassionate Podiatrist for a House Calls role providing in-home foot and ankle care across New York City. Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage diabetic foot issues, ulcers, infections, corns, calluses, nail disorders, and ankle conditions.
• Perform wound care management and preventive foot care services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on foot health, hygiene, and prevention.
• Coordinate care with PCPs, specialists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols during visits.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted New York podiatry license.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Podiatric Medicine or Surgery preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Home care experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and independent practice skills.
• Familiarity with EHR/mobile documentation systems.
