Podiatrist (DPM) – Outpatient Multidisciplinary Practice

Locations: Jefferson Valley & Yonkers, NY
Compensation: $190,000–$210,000
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person

A well-established, multidisciplinary outpatient medical practice in the New York metropolitan area is seeking a full-time Podiatrist (DPM) to join its clinical team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality podiatric care in a collaborative environment, with strong support from physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff.

Position Highlights

  • Patient volume: ~25 patients per day

  • Current team: 1 physician + 4 NP/PA providers

  • Outpatient only, no inpatient responsibilities

  • Occurrence-based malpractice insurance (MLMIC)

  • Evening call only, phone support for mid-level providers; light call volume

  • Up to $1,500 per month reimbursement for medical, dental & vision insurance

  • $2,000 annual CME reimbursement

  • Free parking at both practice locations

  • Schedule split between Jefferson Valley and Yonkers offices

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of foot and ankle conditions in an outpatient setting

  • Manage diabetic foot care, wound care, biomechanical issues, nail disorders, and other podiatric pathologies

  • Perform in-office procedures such as debridement, nail care, minor surgical interventions, and orthotic management

  • Collaborate with physicians, NP/PAs, and multidisciplinary team members on treatment planning and care coordination

  • Educate patients on prevention, treatment plans, and long-term management strategies

  • Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program

  • Active New York State podiatry license (or ability to obtain)

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred

  • Experience in diabetic care, wound management, and outpatient podiatry strongly preferred

  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
