A well-established Article 28 community health clinic in Brooklyn is seeking a Podiatrist (DPM) to join its growing practice on a part-time basis. This is a permanent opportunity, with openness to locums or locums-to-perm for the right provider.
The clinic serves a diverse, underserved patient population and is actively rebuilding and expanding its podiatry service line, with a strong emphasis on diabetic foot care and chronic disease management.

Patient Population

Primarily middle-aged to elderly adults

Underserved, largely low-income community

High prevalence of diabetes and related foot conditions

Diverse patient mix (African American, Hispanic, Hasidic, and neighboring communities)

Clinical Responsibilities

Comprehensive podiatric evaluations and treatment

Diabetic foot care, wound care, and nail care

Office-based podiatric procedures (non-surgical)

Capture medically necessary procedures appropriately and ethically

Collaborate with primary care providers and clinic staff

Build continuity of care and long-term patient relationships
Note: This is not a surgical role, though providers may refer surgical cases to external ASCs (including self-referral, if applicable).
Skin graft experience is a plus but not required.
