Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle exams to diagnose and treat various conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term outcomes.
- Educate patients on preventive foot care, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.
- Travel to local nursing homes to provide podiatric care.
- Maintain detailed, compliant, and accurate medical records.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited program.
- Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency.
- New Graduates can also apply for this position
- Valid license to practice podiatry in the state of Maine (or ability to obtain).
- Willingness to travel to local facilities (e.g., nursing homes).
- Passionate about improving patient outcomes and delivering personalized care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board Certified (preferred, not required).
- Background or knowledge in internal medicine or hospice/palliative care is a plus.
