We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team on a PRN basis in Placer County CA. In this role, you will provide exceptional podiatric care to our patients, with the flexibility to work one day per week. The position offers the opportunity to incorporate telehealth consultations as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their podiatric needs, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures as appropriate, including but not limited to nail and callus care, wound management, and biomechanical assessments.
Educate patients on foot health, preventive care measures, and proper footwear.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted license to practice podiatry in the state of California.
Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Minimum of [X] years of experience practicing podiatry, with proficiency in both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Working Hours

1 day per week (12-hour shift).
