Podiatrist - Nursing Home Specialist

- Location: St. Louis, MO

- Position Type: Full-Time (5 days a week)

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

*Note: We are open to considering locum tenens podiatrists for both positions with immediate availability.*

- Job Description:

- As a Podiatrist specializing in nursing home care, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to residents in various nursing homes in the St. Louis area.

- Diagnose and treat various podiatric conditions, including but not limited to, wound care, diabetic foot care, infections, and musculoskeletal issues.

- Collaborate with nursing home staff to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.

- Qualifications:

- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.

- Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of Missouri.

- Prior experience in nursing home or long-term care podiatry is preferred but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
