Job Description – Plastic Surgery (Microsurgery/Hand)
Specialty: Plastic Surgery – Microsurgical/Hand Focus
Location: Richmond, VA
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Contract Length: 8–12 months
Schedule & Coverage
-
1–2 weeks per month
-
1–2 OR days scheduled per week

24-hour call (2–3 calls per week)

Average patients: 1–3/day

Level 1 Trauma Center

EMR: Epic

Support: Full OR team

Patient mix: Adult microsurgical & adult/peds hand surgery

Skills: Microsurgery & hand training required
Requirements

Board Certified in Plastic Surgery
-
Fellowship in Hand Surgery or Microsurgery
-
Active Virginia license (or IMLC/eligible)
-
DEA required
-
BLS, ACLS
-
Minimum 2 years experience
Credentialing: ~60 days
