The UTRGV School of Medicine Department of Surgery is recruiting an Academic Plastic Surgeon. The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong clinical capabilities to provide a broad range of reconstructive and aesthetic services. Responsibilities include clinical care for plastic surgery patients; teaching of medical students and residents. A track record of academic productivity is required, as the candidate will be involved actively in the research and academic mission of the Department.
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have completed an accredited BC/BE Plastic Surgery training program. The successful candidate must possess or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with experience, qualifications and academic credentials.
