**Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program Director Opportunity in Jacksonville, FL**
**Position Overview:**
Seeking a Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to serve as Residency Program Director for a new ACGME-accredited PM&R residency program beginning in 2026. This leadership position combines graduate medical education, inpatient rehabilitation, teaching, and administrative responsibilities within a nationally recognized rehabilitation program.
**Practice Details:**
- Full-time employed position
- Leadership role for a new PM&R residency program
- Administrative and clinical teaching responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor residents
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams
- Supported by a dedicated hospitalist team for inpatient medical management
**Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities:**
- Serve as Residency Program Director
- Lead development and administration of the PM&R residency program
- Provide inpatient rehabilitation teaching and supervision
- Ensure ACGME program compliance
- Mentor residents and faculty
- Participate in curriculum development and scholarly activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation services

**Requirements:**
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Minimum of 3 years of active clinical practice
- Minimum of 3 years of GME administrative experience
- Prior academic appointment
- Demonstrated scholarly activity within the past 5 years
- Strong leadership, administrative, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities
