PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION

POSITION SUMMARY
The organization seeks a physician to provide physiatry services within an interventional spine and pain setting. The role is embedded in a hospital-employed model and supports a broad referral network across a large regional system. Responsibilities include outpatient-focused rehabilitation and spine-related care, with an emphasis on candidates interested in performing and interpreting EMG studies. The position offers access to modern clinical facilities and a substantial patient catchment area.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Accredited residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
• Interest in performing and interpreting EMG studies.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in evaluating and managing musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions.
• Ability to perform and interpret EMG studies.
• Effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary interventional spine and pain team.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EMR systems and modern diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based rehabilitation care.
