Exciting locum opportunity for a PM&R Physician in Canandaigua, NY 🌆, working in a dynamic outpatient pain management setting. Join a supportive team environment with access to advanced procedures and modern technology while delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions 🩺
• Perform interventional pain procedures (ESI, MBB, RFA, nerve blocks, injections, etc.)
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff 🤝
• Ensure accurate documentation using EMR systems (Epic)
Qualifications
• MD/DO with board certification in PM&R or Pain Management
• Active New York medical license (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience post fellowship
• BLS certification required
• Strong procedural and clinical expertise
Working Hours
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ⏰
(On-call: Office call only after hours & weekends)
Skills
• Expertise in interventional pain procedures 💉
• Strong diagnostic and patient management skills
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
