Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity in Springfield, MO
A nationally recognized healthcare system in Southwest Missouri is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician to join a well-established and growing PM&R team. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering flexibility in practice focus, strong compensation, and excellent support.
Practice Details
Full-time employed PM&R position
Established team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs
Flexible practice model with inpatient and outpatient opportunities
Ability to tailor practice focus (rehab, MSK, EMG/NCS, injections, neuro, trauma, etc.)
60-bed freestanding rehabilitation hospital
1:5 call schedule with strong work-life balance
Large referral base drawing from a multi-state region
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide inpatient rehabilitation and/or outpatient PM&R care
Perform procedures such as EMG/NCS and injections based on skillset
Manage a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, orthopedic, and neurologic cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across specialties
Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans
Support & Resources
State-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital and equipment
Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center of Excellence
Access to 600+ employed physicians across multiple specialties
Dedicated hospitalist support at the rehab facility
Established referral network with high patient volumes
Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary guarantee of $425,000 with productivity upside

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
