An excellent locum opportunity for a PM&R / Pain Management Physician is available in Canandaigua, New York. This role focuses on ambulatory pain management procedures within a supportive outpatient clinical environment.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Pain Management Physician (Locum)

📅 Assignment Details

• Start Date: April 20, 2026

• Assignment Length: Approximately 26 weeks

• Full-time coverage needed

• Opportunity to work within a well-supported outpatient clinic environment

⏰ Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Office call only for after-hours and weekends

• No block schedules required

🏥 Practice Setting

• Outpatient pain management clinic

• Ambulatory patient population

• Dedicated clinic support staff including:

  • Secretary

  • LPN during clinic hours

Providers may also float between the ambulatory clinic and nearby procedural space depending on scheduling needs.

🧑‍⚕️ Patient Population

Providers will treat patients across a wide age range including:

• Pediatrics

• Adolescents

• Adults

• Geriatric patients

🩺 Required Procedures

Providers should be comfortable performing a variety of interventional pain management procedures, including:

• Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

• Medial branch blocks

• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)

• Nerve blocks

• Trigger point injections

• Sacroiliac joint injections

• Spinal cord stimulator trials

• Genicular nerve blocks and RFA

• Intercostal nerve blocks

• Piriformis injections

💻 Technology

• EMR: Epic

📋 Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management / PM&R

• Active New York medical license required

• BLS certification required

• Epic experience required

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience post-fellowship
