What You Will Do:
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient care at our ambulatory clinic, including procedures such as epidural steroid injections (ESI), medial branch blocks (MBB), radiofrequency ablations (RFA), nerve blocks, trigger point injections, sacroiliac joint injections, genicular nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulator trials.
- Manage patient treatment plans and coordinate diagnostics and referrals.
- Supervise and instruct nursing and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality patient management.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, peer reviews, and multidisciplinary team efforts.
- Serve as faculty for residency and medical students, contributing to education and mentorship.
- Provide after-hours and weekend call coverage (office call only) with weekday clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- NY State Medical License in good standing.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- 1-2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience.
- Proficiency in performing ESI, MBB, RFA, nerve blocks, and other interventional procedures.
- Current BLS certification.
- Epic EHR experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Up-to-date work history without gaps exceeding 30 days.
- No malpractice issues, with a physician statement if applicable.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with multidisciplinary pain management programs.
- Prior teaching or academic roles.
- Additional certifications in advanced pain procedures or interventional techniques.
- Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinical workflows.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active NY medical license.
- At least 1-2 years of post-fellowship experience in a similar setting.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or before April 20, 2026.
- Ability to work weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with after-hours and weekend call.
- Professional attire, with attention to dress code standards.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care within a regulated environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $267.54
