A leading health system in the Detroit metropolitan area is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join its established multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment that emphasizes comprehensive rehabilitative care supported by advanced technology and strong institutional backing.
Key Responsibilities
Full-time, employed, and benefitted position (Monday–Friday schedule)
Primary focus on outpatient care, with limited inpatient coverage
Minimal procedure requirements; no operating room responsibilities
Qualifications
Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
Prior experience in clinical rehabilitation preferred
Practice Environment
The successful candidate will practice within a highly regarded regional rehabilitation network that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across metro Detroit. The network includes a 90+ bed inpatient facility and over 30 outpatient therapy centers, serving a wide range of patients—from those with musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries to individuals recovering from stroke, brain, or spinal cord injuries
