Position Details
The incoming Physiatrist will collaborate with the Medical Director, CEO and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

Participate in covering call with current physician group
Opportunity to build outpatient practice
Qualifications
1. Physician is a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, duly licensed and registered to practice medicine or surgery, and is in good standing under the laws of the state in which Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility is located
2. Physician is certified and maintains all board certifications in his or her specialty areas by a nationally recognized board
3. Physician is in good standing on the medical staff of the Hospital and meets all criteria related to experience and training under the regulations and medical staff by-laws
4. Demonstrates appropriate experience and training to provide rehabilitation services through one or more of the following:
a. A formal residency in PMR
b. A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year
c. Has completed a one year hospital internship with a minimum of two years’ of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services
