Premier Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, P.C. is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join our outpatient musculoskeletal practice. With offices in Bellerose and Valley Stream, we offer advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

๐Ÿ”Ž Practice Specialties

  • Objective and Definitive Medical Evaluations

  • Therapeutic Modalities (Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Ultrasound, Paraffin Therapy)

  • Heat/Cold Therapy

  • Exercise Rehabilitation (Aerobic & Strength Training)

  • Pain Management

  • Electrodiagnostic Studies (EMG/NCV)

๐Ÿฉป Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and examine patients requiring physical therapy or pain management

  • Diagnose pain resulting from injury, disease, or disabling conditions

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Perform trigger point, soft tissue, and joint injections

  • Lead and collaborate with medical staff, including physical therapists

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Conduct or supervise electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCV)

  • Educate patients and families on treatment, self-care, and lifestyle modifications

  • Order and interpret imaging tests (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound)

  • Recommend specialist consultations as appropriate

  • Prescribe orthotic devices and ensure proper fitting

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation

๐ŸŽ“ Education & Requirements

  • MD or DO

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (ABPMR)

  • Active New York State medical license

  • BLS certification

  • Experience in outpatient musculoskeletal practice preferred

  • W2 Base Salary starting at $270,000 (commensurate with experience)
