Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physiatrist to join our growing outpatient musculoskeletal practice. With four established locations in Rego Park, Bushwick, North Bronx, and South Bronx, we provide advanced diagnostic and interventional services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

This position will primarily cover our Bushwick and Rego Park offices.

🔎 Position Overview

• 100% Outpatient Musculoskeletal Practice

• 20–28 patients per day

• PA/NP support on most evaluation days

• Strong administrative and clinical team support

🩻 Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and periodic re-evaluations

• Diagnose pain resulting from injury, disease, or disabling conditions

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

• Perform trigger point, soft tissue, and joint injections

• Conduct or oversee electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCV)

• Order and interpret imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Ultrasound)

• Prescribe orthotics and ensure proper fitting

• Lead and collaborate with physical therapists and clinical staff

• Counsel patients and families on treatment and lifestyle modifications

• Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation (EHR)

🎓 Education & Requirements

• MD or DO

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (ABPMR)

• Active New York State medical license

• BLS certification

• Clinical experience in pain management and physical medicine preferred

💡 Knowledge & Experience

• Outpatient musculoskeletal practice experience preferred

• Experience with injections and pain management strategies

• Ability to treat patients of all ages

• Leadership experience working with PTs and clinical teams
