Job description Tucson, Arizona - PM&R Physician (Post-Acute Care)

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing post-acute care team in the Tucson, Arizona area.

This is a full-time opportunity (5 days per week) providing care in skilled nursing facilities. You’ll enjoy excellent clinical support, autonomy in your practice, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives during pivotal recovery moments.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Estimated annual compensation: $232,000 – $279,000

  • No cap on productivity income potential

About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations

  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans

  • Monitor patient progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

You will work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team, building strong relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications
  • Active Arizona physician license and DEA

  • Experience in post-acute, acute care, emergency department, or clinic settings preferred but not required

  • New graduates are welcome to apply

  • Strong clinical foundation and understanding of healthcare regulatory standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, collaborative approach
