Outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (MD/DO) - Non-Interventional
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician (Physiatrist) for a full-time, outpatient-focused practice. This is a non-interventional role centered on conservative management, functional rehabilitation, and patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate is experienced in outpatient rehabilitation and committed to improving patients' functional outcomes through collaborative, multidisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments

Develop and implement conservative, non-surgical, non-interventional treatment plans

Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Provide patient education on injury prevention, functional recovery, and lifestyle modifications

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning
Qualifications & Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Completed residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Board Certified in PM&R
-
Active New Jersey medical license

Minimum 2 years of experience (new graduates not eligible)

Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Ability to work collaboratively in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in outpatient rehabilitation or musculoskeletal care

Interest in functional medicine, sports rehabilitation, or non-procedural chronic pain management

Familiarity with EMR systems
