Job Title: Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician
Location: Bronx, New York
Job Summary
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join a growing multidisciplinary healthcare team in the Bronx, NY. The physician will provide comprehensive rehabilitation care focused on improving functional outcomes and quality of life for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-acute conditions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical impairments and functional limitations
Develop individualised rehabilitation treatment plans
Provide non-operative management of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions
Perform procedures as applicable (e.g., joint injections, trigger point injections, EMG/NCS if trained)
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, pain specialists, and other healthcare providers
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Patient Population
Musculoskeletal injuries
Stroke and neurological rehabilitation
Spine and joint disorders
Chronic pain and post-surgical rehabilitation
Work-related and accident-related injuries (if applicable)
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Active or eligible New York State medical license
DEA registration (or eligibility)
Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
Schedule & Setting
Full-time or Part-time opportunities available
Outpatient-focused practice (inpatient coverage optional, if applicable)
Monday–Friday schedule (flexible hours may be available)
