PM&R Interventional Pain Management – Atlanta
Job at a glance
Job description
A nationally respected rehabilitation hospital in Atlanta is seeking an Interventional Pain Physiatrist to join its established, high-quality clinical team. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway toward medical leadership, including the potential for a Medical Director position.
The priority is excellent patient care, along with mentoring and supporting physicians and APPs, refining pain management protocols, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes. You would also participate in broader discussions around program development, outcomes, and long-term strategy. If you value collaboration, thoughtful leadership, and a role where your experience in pain management truly matters, this is well worth a conversation.
Opportunities are available across experience levels — including new pain management fellows, mid-career physicians, and seasoned leaders. Regardless of career stage, this is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys remaining clinically active while helping shape how a pain program operates and grows. For those pursuing a leadership path, you’ll work closely with operational and medical leadership, have meaningful influence over clinical quality and direction, and serve as a visible advocate for the physician team, including assisting with recruitment and onboarding.
Qualifications
• Pain Management fellowship training (PM&R background preferred)
• Board certified or board eligible
• Comfortable leading, mentoring, and working across multidisciplinary teams
