🏥 Facility Setting

• Inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation unit

• Adult rehabilitation population

• Hospitalist team manages medical care

• APP support on-site

• Cerner EMR

🩺 Position Overview

• Daily inpatient rounding on rehabilitation patients

• Participate in care conferences twice per week

• Focus on functional recovery, discharge planning, and rehab coordination

• Collaborate closely with hospitalists, therapy teams, and APPs

• No telehealth responsibilities

• No outpatient clinic

📊 Workload Snapshot

• Average 18 patients per day

• Strong support from 2 Nurse Practitioners

• Emphasis on interdisciplinary rehab care

⏱️ Schedule & Call

• Daytime schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

• Weekday call: Required (details provided during call)

• Weekends: Not required

• Coverage needed for vacation blocks

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

• Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ

• Clean malpractice and background history

• Comfortable in an inpatient rehab setting
