We are seeking a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity features weekday rounds from 8am to 5pm with biweekly care conferences. The physician will manage an average of 18 inpatient cases daily, supported by two nurse practitioners, while the hospitalist team handles medical management.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm; daily rounds; care conferences twice per week


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation care
  • Round on approximately 18 patients per day
  • Participate in care conferences twice weekly
  • Collaborate with a hospitalist team for patient medical management
  • Work alongside two nurse practitioners for clinical support


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
  • Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ required at submission
  • Clean malpractice and background history required
