An exciting Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) locum opportunity is available for physicians interested in vacation coverage and ongoing bench support within a well-established inpatient rehabilitation program. This role is ideal for providers who enjoy hands-on inpatient care, collaborative practice, and a structured daytime schedule.

🩺 Position Highlights

• Coverage Type: Locum tenens (vacation and intermittent coverage)

• Schedule:

  • Onsite weekday coverage (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 1-hour unpaid lunch)

  • Weekday call coverage (details TBD)
    

• Inpatient Role: Yes

• Telemedicine: No

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities

• Daily inpatient rounding on rehabilitation patients

• Participation in care conferences twice weekly

• Average census: ~18 patients per day

• Focus on rehabilitation care while hospitalist team manages medical needs

• Dedicated NP support (2 NPs) assisting with patient care

• Multidisciplinary rehab environment promoting collaboration and continuity of care

• Well-established workflows to support locum physicians

• EMR: Cerner

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

• Active state license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
