This Medical Center, is actively recruiting a full-time PM&R Physician (Physiatrist) with an optional Medical Director role (small % FTE) that includes a stipend. As a 145-bed general acute care hospital, we are the largest full-service regional medical center between Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington. With a Level III Trauma Center and more than 100 board-certified physicians and providers in both primary care and specialty disciplines, we deliver advanced-level specialty healthcare to ensure every patient, and their loved ones have everything they need to feel comforted, every step of their journey.

About the position:

  • 10-bed step-down unit for hospital patients needing extra care ahead of discharge.
  • Schedule: M-F; backup PRN physicians on call on weekends
  • Call: first call is to nurses who would call in a provider if needed
  • Team Support: Nurses, CNA, OT, COTA, PTA, and case manager
  • Unit is located on the 6th floor and boasts a breathtaking view of Snake River Valley

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in PM & R or Physiatry
  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority
