Locums Physiatry Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physiatrist to provide locum tenens coverage at an outpatient PM&R clinic in South Burlington, VT. The practice is looking for consistent part-time clinic coverage to support botulinum toxin (Botox) treatments for spasticity patients, with additional opportunities for EMGs and general outpatient physiatry.

This is a flexible and patient-centered position, perfect for a PM&R physician who enjoys continuity of care and working with a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation: $190 Per Hour

Schedule & Commitment:

• Clinic Sessions: 3–4 half-day sessions per week (AM or PM)
• Days per Week: 2–3 full days
• Weeks per Month: Ideally 3–4
• Call: Light weekend call coverage, 1–2 weekends per month

Scope of Practice:

• Outpatient evaluation and management of spasticity patients
• Perform Botox injections for spasticity
• Conduct EMGs (if credentialed/experienced)
• Provide consistent care and follow-up in a collaborative outpatient setting
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Active Vermont medical license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Botox for spasticity and EMGs strongly preferred
• Comfortable with outpatient rehab medicine and continuity care
