Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physiatrist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitative care while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough clinical evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage a wide spectrum of conditions related to the specialty.
  • Provide EMG studies.
  • Perform procedures.
  • Collaborate with physical therapy and other specialties for coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide patient education and promote safe recovery and optimal function.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in NY.
  • Experience in outpatient practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical decision-making skills.
